Resolved some issues I was having with the jQuery scripting. I'm back on track with coding. Not frustrated with it anymore.

The new links admin interface is about as complete as I can get it at the moment. The category interface is next in line. It is about 80% complete. Shouldn't take too long to finish it.

The paylog interface is nearly complete. Need to be able to link the paylog with an actual link if one doesn't get supplied for some reason. Have to check to see if it is also adding to the link account properly.

The link display is nearly done as well. I think I got all of it finished but not really certain. Been awhile since I last looked at it.

Need to redo the update and install files. This will be the last thing to do before release.

I think I am fairly close to being able to release the next version. Let's shoot for an October 1st release.

Hello, I do not know you but I certainly appreciate your work. I have installed 1.5.4 and I was wondering if you are still working on the 2.0 version.

Also, the implementation seems to work fine except for a few wrinkles. But one main problem is the layout where each row is separated by a huge chunk of white space. I have tried all sorts of changes from .css to table widths to no avail.

Is there a chance that you can suggest some tweaking?

Yep, feel the same way it is a great plugin and with good potential to beat the others by far in my opinion.

If youve figgured out how to add an logo i would realy like to know for it is required for me to use the plugin all other functions meet my requirements by far.

I agree with this one, i like to use the plugin but the image upload to add a logo to a listing is required for me to use it, all other functions are fine!!

Nice plug-in ... but there is a little problem with the widget. When i select All categories, it works fine. However, if i specify a category, the widget does not display anything.

An Update on progress.

I have added some of the Custom CSS that can be used on the links themselves. You will be able to control the color and style of the links. I will probably add the CSS for the rest of the description as well. Just haven't done that quite yet.

Created a Paylog. The paylog will have payment information via paypal only at this time.

Paypal integration is in progress. Hope to have it done soon. Still have some bugs to work out on it but it is getting there.

There will be 7 tabs under manage links. Each contains a list of links pertinent to that tab. Pagination has been enabled to help you with large lists.

You will have the ability to have paid links on every page or just the first page of your link list. It will be an option.

I still have to redo the actual links pages and submit form. The submit form needs to have the paypal integration in it. That shouldn't take me too long but you never know.

Still looking at the end of June for a possible release. I will keep you updated if I think it will go past that.

Wp-Directory-List 2.0.0 is in the works.

This version will feature quite a few of the fixes you have been looking for.

All of the shortcodes should work correctly now. Along with multiple shortcodes in one page if you so desire. Pagination should be included in this version but it is not yet implemented. It is for the admin section but not for the links yet. I'll update this post when it is fixed.

Shortcodes for the following:

Featured Links
Normal Links
Paid Links

Each will allow various attributes to be used such as:

All or one Category
Over riding the per row option
Ordering

Changed the admin interface.

Made the plugin more modular to make it easier to add new features without changing the core plugin.

Added the ability to use some custom CSS in the options for your links.

I may be adding image handling for those who don't want to use the STW feature. But this may wait for a future version. Not certain yet.

On the "options" page in the admin, it asks this question, as well as "Format of your Submit Form". I don't know what to put for either. Is this required? Is there a default format?

Please help.

Also, there is nothing displayed for my directory, except "Powered by Wp-Directory-List"

I'm confused... several people have mentioned this and I have yet to find a solution. I have added cateogories and links and made them all active... Please help!! This is the perfect plugin I have been searching for... now I just need to get it to work on the front end!

I am trying to remove the http:// that is automatically added into the pending links and the manage directory area for the URL.

I have a need to add an additional drop-down list.

It is for a 'Neighborhoods' section. Or perhaps there is a way to change the default country names to reflect the Neighborhoods instead?

I suggest adding image upload function so that users can upload an image of themselves or their company logo, rather than just a screenshot.

First, thank you for such a nice plugin!

I did a search for this question, and didn't find it, so forgive me if it's been answered already.

I would like my thumbnails just a bit bigger. I found the php file that seems to address this, but not being a programmer I'm afraid to muck around too much on my own. Can someone give me the simple answer on which file to change to what and such? Thanks again!

I did a couple searches on the website and on the forum and I found ZERO info about the Random Links Widget. My site is working pretty well now (http://blcog.com/directory/) but the widget does not do anything. Is it not functional? Or, am I doing something wrong?

Maybe it's because I'm a coding noob, but when I placed the [directory category=all] on my directory page, and the [directory_signup] on my sign-up page it doesn't show anything except thin powered by link, and the submit button. I think that this is a great plugin, but I wish it would work. I'm going to go back to my old directory listing until I can get an answer on what to do from here.

Also, I don't know what I'm supposed to do with these:
