Wp-Directory-List 2.0 is in the works.
There is much to be desired about the current version of Wp-Directory-List. It does have a few bugs in it that I had hoped to get rid of before starting on a new version but I haven’t had much time to work on it in the last few months.
Time has freed up and I can start working on it again.
After looking at what I wanted to do, I decided it was just as easy to redo the entire thing. Especially with the security features that were implemented in WordPress lately.
I have redone most of the Admin interface. I am still working on it. I have added Featured links and Paid links to the administration with a Tabbed format so that you can easily find different things. There is also some pagination implemented in the admin link list as well.
Multiple short codes in pages now work properly without the “Powered by” link spamming the page. However, I am redoing how the tags are parsed for the information displayed. There will be some configurable Style Sheet settings in the Admin Options.
Paypal integration is high on my list. I have to get the link pages redone first though. Basically I have to get it working the way it was working before I made a bunch of changes before I can get this done but once that is done then Paypal is next on the list.
It is in the works. I am working on the plugin. Many bugs are being fixed. Taking a little more time to ensure that it works properly. I don’t have a time frame yet but maybe by the end of June.
