Now that Christmas has passed and all of your gifts have been opened to much delight. It is time to think about what to do with those gifts you have duplicates of or just don’t want.

In the past, regifting was the thing to do. Now it isn’t so simple.

This is where Craigslist and Ebay come in handy.

Just place those items on Ebay or Craigslist and wait for someone to buy them from you. You will get rid of an unwanted item and pull in a little bit of cash. People are still looking for many of the hard to get items.

Some of the more difficult items to get are the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo Wii Fit. Both of which sell really well for a bit more than you can purchase them from the store as many stores sell out as soon as they are delivered to the shelves.

I know this is still the case here. Searching all of the major shopping places for either of these found only a limited number at Gamestop. By the time I left Gamestop, both the Fit and the Wii were sold out. That was by 10am.

It is also a good way to earn a little bit of extra cash. If you happen to see one of the Wii’s or Fit games, consider purchasing one for Craigslist or Ebay. It could be a quick $30-$75 bucks depending on how available they are.

Just because Christmas is over doesn’t mean you have to miss out on making a bit of change on it.

That’s right. Stop Using Ebay and other auction sites!

I know this is contrary to what I have previously posted about so keep reading to learn more.

Why should you keep paying more and more for just listing on auction sites when you can post on Craigslist for free.

Yes, you did hear me right… Craigslist is free!

Change your tactics for selling online. Start selling on Craigslist.

Keep your Ebay account. Keep up with your auctions. If what you are trying to sell doesn’t go very good on Ebay, try out Craigslist to see if it will sell there. You are not going to lose anything if you do but a few minutes of your time.

Of course, like Ebay, there is a method to the Craiglist madness. It isn’t just post it and they will buy.

There are some things that sell better than others. There are techniques that grab the most attention. How you close the sale is different as well. There are many things that make selling on Craigslist a bit different than selling on Ebay.

Learn how to maximize your rate of return on your advertisements. Or just learn how to find deals that you can turn around and sell for even more later on. Something you can no longer do, in many cases, with Ebay.

Check out how to do all of this with The Ultimate Guide to Buying and Selling on Craigslist.
